Anger

It is said that anger is the strongest of emotion, Stronger than any love potion, It is said to be the giver of strength and rage, But at the same time trapping us in a cage, It is said to provide an outlet for excess fear and disappointment, Resulting in great frustration like a boil with not ointment, It is said to give confidence to do things with great audacity, Accompanied by a great level of tenacity, Allowing us to be courageous and careless, As if the outcome will be painless, As it unleashes “The Beast from within”, Which makes us proud and keen, To do what has never been seen. But at times anger brings relief, Even staring at things with great disbelief, It has propelled some to greater heights, Left some with sleepless nights, Left some men bitter, Although its immediate satisfaction was sweeter, Overall it has left men with a regret, That has to be met, Mostly with an instant apology, Were others have failed, It was given as a eulogy. Anger is after all a part of our animalistic nature, A part of our beating heart,

Which has always been with us from the start, But from mistakes learned, wisdom we must impart, So others may know and not make the same mistake twice, For even with anger, Life is still like a game rolling dice, So from the little that I know, And the knowledge I have from what I saw, I ask you to take control, Because afterwards someone you will have to console, So let your brain perform its role, And not let your emotions take their toll, Breath in and then breath out, Let it all flow out from a little spout, Make peace, And enjoy the fruits of its release, That is all I have for you my little young one, Now as we watch the birth of a new sun, Be ready for what may come, Take my words as your an extension of your arm, And take them with you everywhere you go, Because you never know, When or where anger will pop up, And you will be forced to make a stand, Remember,hold my words dear, And remember to keep your mind clear.
