I am not a rock

I am not a rock ,but I will not be moved,

I am not immortal but I will not die,

I will live long and forever because of my actions,

And if not by action then by my generations,

I will attain that which many have failed to achieve,

Because I will have faith and I believe.

I am the stone that the builders refused,

The bomb that could not be defused,

That left them utterly confused.

My resolve is clear as day,

My vision before me,

It is my prey,

And I am it's predator,

Its architect its inventor.

I am steadfast and strong,

Even though sometimes I fail and I am wrong,

I will not give up and stop singing my song,

I will endure and my soul will go on,

Though great deeds my legacy, will be prolonged,

I will be remembered by those that said that I never belonged,

I will not give up,

Until i have drunken my cup,

In the midst of my enemies,

And they will push and cry,

And with great pleasure, their satisfaction I will deny,

For I will not be moved,

I am immortal and my destiny will not be refused.
