Loneliness

There’s a loneliness that echoes in the hearts of all, a loneliness that eats away at the soul, a loneliness that keeps us awake at night, that even despite all our might, we can not fight. A loneliness that makes a crowded room feel empty, a loneliness that draws you out of the world and onto the imaginary plane, were your greatest fears come to life no matter how insane, And it feels as if all you are supposed to know is pain, pain that has no escape, and no relief, but still gives you some little hope and belief, so that one day it will be able to take it from you with great disbelief. Loneliness is a disease that affects us all, that makes us feel less whole, were piece by piece it devours our light, Our light, that once burned so bright, becomes so small dull until it disappears from our sight, All because we miss that yearning, The yearning for completeness that’s burning, Burning to be understood, by someone whose intentions are only good, whose smile could lift our mood. But alas , loneliness she is a cruel mistress, and the bringer of distress, She reminds you, that happiness is temporary, and that soon you will be very sorry, She will show you that you belong alone because you are below average, And she beast ,complete savage!!! And she will not ever give up, As long as the sun comes up, She will always be there to keep you from those that want to lend a hand, Ironically that is loeliness, Every man’s bestfriend…
