My Sweet Selina

I often found myself staring at her grace,

wondering how God could create such as face,

a face that held so much beauty that it remind us that life was so unfair,

and without care,

how could one person embody such grace,

and not share it with the rest of the human race.

Her name was Selina,

a girl blessed by the goddess Athena,

Born to give faith to humanity,

yet possess a beauty strong enough to steal my sanity

A girl with a smile that could on for smiles,

and skin that felt like the richest textiles,

Her voice was so sweet and calm that she could calm the harshest of storms,

because her grace did not conform to our social norms,

She knew that she was too good for this world,

but she was so down to earth,

that every time that i saw her ,i felt my soul's rebirth,

and my faith in humanity restored,

and all that I could do was thank the Lord,

for this gift of sight,

to experience that is her light.

I wish I had the courage to go and talk to her,

But I know that if she ever gave me the time of day I would probably lose consciousness as everything became a blur,

and if she touched me it would cause such a stir,

Stronger that the strongest of liqueur,

Oh my dear Selina,

The girl that stole my heart,

The girl that I cannot leave without,

I wish that I had to courage to tell you how I feel,

Because I know that what I feel is real,

and if it were possible I would already get on one knee,

and ask you to marry me,

because there is nothing that I wouldn't give you,

Even if it meant that I would give up life to.
