The Forgotten

We have faced pain and guilt before,

We have sort out immortality and failed,

Yet we still persevere as we our hunt for a place in the stars,

Even if we have to carry our crosses on our backs,

Dragging the chains and shackles meant to hold us in place,

Taking it one step at a time,

Whether it be right or left,

We keep moving,

For we know that even if it doesn't end well for us,

We are certain that in the end it will be worth it,

For we would have done something short of impossible,

Something that hundreds of thousands of men have dreamnt of,

Something unachievable and unattainable,

And we would achieved this not because we are better,

But because we take what is offered,

And use it to make what we need ,

So they one day we will deserve what we want,

Who are we some may ask?

We are the same person that you pass in the street,

The same person that brings you your morning coffee,

We are the so called "weak" as cruelly termed by society,

The ones that exhibit a different kind of thought,

The ones that were cut off because we were a breeding ground for unconventional thinking,

Who are we they ask?

We are the forgotten!

We are the never remembered,

We are the ones that creep in society's shadow,

Because that's the only place that feels like home,

We are the forgotten,

We are the ones that society will never seek out.

But today is a new day so take this warning and get ready to bite your teeth,

For today we make claim to what has been denied to us for long,

Today we break free and make our claim to our destiny,

And if lose ,we will go back to the shadows only to try again,

But lest we win,

We would have earned ourselves our immortality,

So take heed and be prepared for what is about to come,

We are the weak,

We are the so called pathetic,

We are the forgotten,

But today we become the conquers.

For we are the Forgotten and you will remember us!!!!
